Council delegation welcomed both Normandy and Carter Hall home from deployment. Northland will deploy on 11/25. Deployment Dollars will be delivered on 11/15. Deployment Dollars was delivered to USS Winston S. Churchill who was leaving on deployment.

Navy Recruiting is now divided in two regions with Mississippi River as division.

The Fiftieth Anniversary year will be kicked off with a fruit, cheese and wine social prior to the Annual Meeting in January.

President Roy Martin reported on National’s annual meeting and the accolades which accompanied his acceptance of three major awards to Richmond Council. The Virginia War Memorial Fund needs help in making goal for new construction. Council will consider support.

No date has been received from the White House for our tour. Hopefully, we will have the date soon.
